Matthew Cooper, CPA - Founder/Managing Member
Matthew founded Matthew Accounting, PLLC in 2006. Matthew is a graduate of the Michigan State University, School of Business and holds a B.A. in business with a major in accounting. Prior to founding the firm, Matthew worked in finance for Northwest Airlines and practiced accounting with Deloitte & Touche, in Minneapolis. In addition to managing firm operations, Matthew works closely with clients on improving the implementation of their strategic business model.
Matthew and his wife, Gina reside in DeWitt with their three children, Everett, Elin and Charlotte. When not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, running, and following MSU sports. In the community, Matthew serves as an elected official on the DeWitt City Council. Matthew enjoys the opportunity this has given him to positively contribute to the city’s goals, major projects, and strategic planning.
